Today’s my best girl’s 18th birthday and I’m probably more excited about her turning 18 than she is!

I don’t think that I could ask for a better friend than her, I mean literally she has made my high school years so bearable and so worth while. There were so many times that we argued and butted heads with each other but I feel like that has made our friendship so much stronger. She’s such a grounded and down to earth person compared to me, me being over the top and energetic, it’s so humbling and  nice to get a subtle quite-ness from a person. I’m not a fan of best friends, I really think the term degrades in a way, but she is the closest thing to it, her always there for me even when I don’t want to be around anyone, and what a great listener. I really don’t know where I would be as a person if it weren’t for her, and I’m so thankful to have someone as funny, weird, classy, and smart to call a friend. HAPPY 18th Karen!
